CASTING DIRECTOR: Enabling a Role to Receive Submissions via the Project URL

If you are looking to receive submissions for roles on your project, you can do so by utilizing the Project URL. Every project is equipped with a unique Project URL that links submissions directly to your project.

• Access & Share your Project URL

Open a Role for Submission

1. Login to your Cast It Systems profile
2. Click into your project so you are viewing the list of roles
3. On the right side of the page, select the three vertical dots that correspond with the role you want to activate
   
   
   
   
4. Select "Edit Role" from the menu
   
   
   
   
   
5. Select the "Cast It Discover" tab 
   
   
6. Mark off the boxes for the following:
   • "Talent and agents with access to the Project Inbox URL"
   • You must set an expiration date and time to save these settings
   • "What of the following is required when submitting? - Video"
     
     
     
     
7. If you want agents to be able to submit WITHOUT sending them the link, you can check off “Any agent browsing roles within the Cast It Talent application"
   • This will send the project to agents across the system. If you want only select agents to submit DO NOT mark this off
8.  If you want talent to be able to submit WITHOUT sending them the link you can check off "Talent Cast It Talent Accounts"
   • This will send the project to talent across the system. If you want only select talent to submit DO NOT mark this off
     
     
     
     
9. Press "Save" - this role is now active for submissions.
10. Repeat steps 4-9 to activate other roles in the project.

Access & Share your Project URL

1. Locate the project you are creating the submission link for and click into it.
2. Click on the “Copy Project Inbox URL” button 
   
   
   
   
3. You can now copy and paste this URL into an email, and send this to anyone you'd like to have submit on your project.

Those who click on your URL will be redirected to a page where an Agent or Talent can submit their talent/themselves. The page will look something like this:
