Adding Users is an important part of managing your project on Cast It Systems. If you have Administrative Access to a project, you have the ability to loop in new users and set their access level. To find out more about the different access levels see HERE.

Grant User Access to a Series
DISCLAIMER: Anything other than a series is considered a “project” (this includes series episodes)
WARNING: This will grant access to all episodes within a series.
- Login to your Cast It Systems profile

Open the First Episode of the Series

Select the “User Access” Button located in the Project Menu

The User Access Page will open, select the option "Go to Series Overview"
- This will take you to the Series Access Page. Select "Add User to Series"

Type in the email of the user you want to add to the project in the “Enter Email Address” box and set their access level. Access Levels can be found HERE.

If a user account with that email already exists, simply choose the access level and select “Add” or “Add & Notify”*.
*Add & Notify will send the user an email notifying that they have access to a new project
If a user does NOT already exist with the email, you will be prompted to Create an account. Simply fill out their first and last name and set an access level.
Done!
Grant User Access to a Project/Single Episode
DISCLAIMER: Anything other than a series is considered a “project” (this includes series episodes)
WARNING: this will grant access to an entire Project, or Single Episode
- Login to your CIS profile

Click into the Project

Click the “User Access" button
- On the "Users Tab" select "Add User". Type in the email of the user you want to add to the project in the “Name/Email” box and set their access level. Press “Add”
- If a user account with that email already exists, simply choose the access level and select “Add” or “Add & Notify”*.
*Add & Notify will send the user an email notifying that they have access to a new project
If a user does NOT already exist with the email, you will be prompted to Create an account. Simply fill out their first and last name and set an access level.
DONE!
Adding a User with Location Casting
A location can be set on the Series level OR the Episode level however they will not work as the same location. A User with Location Casting will only be able to see the roles that they create in their location.
- Login to your CIS profile

Click into the Project
- Click the “User Access" button
- If you are adding the Location Casting to a single project remain on this view. If you want to add the Location Casting to an entire series, select "Go to Series Overview"
- Once on the Project Access Page or Series Access Page you will see an Option to the far right either "Add Location" for a Single Project or "Add Series Location" for a Series.
- Type in the Location Name that best fits the title of Location Casting an select "ADD". NOTE: This will appear next to all role names created by Users assigned to this Location.
- Once the Location is added to the Project or Series you can add a Location Casting User.
- When adding a user set the Access Level to "Location Casting".
- Another drop-down will appear where you can select the newly added Location.
- If you would like the Location Casting User's to have additional access to other roles, you can do so by setting Additional Access.

Once their Access is selected simply choose the access level and select “Add” or “Add & Notify”
